Hunter questions
Hmm. At 18 there are only like 3 places you could go? The Barrnes (i tried to skip this as much as possible) Ghostlands, and w/e the 2nd undead zone? I have a 61 Dwarf Hunter and a 43 Troll Hunter, both spec the same (BM) and I can tell you I like the Troll one better. Maybe it is because I have knowledge of the class or maybe it is because i favor the Horde more then the alliance… but they both have pretty much been the same. I’ve even done the same quests on each. As for population, you could look for a realm with a low number hunters. But really, play what you want. And if it is hunter, then be a hunter – You will level in different places as a Alliance hunter, that is a given. but you are going to do the same… kill this to get this many things it drops, go kill them over there and this many of them, and then go back and kill higher leveled ones again..to go back and kill their Just different mobs :p-WoW: Sandinmygum: 80 Troll Hunter – Shadowsong Sandinmyeye: 80 Orc DK – Shadowsong >8< Hair cut resultsI had rolled a BE Hunter before and its the highest level toon I had, at level 18. But to be honest, I really dont like the horde areas and thats why I went alliance. My question is would my experience as an alliance hunter be different from that of the horde? Should I just keep my BE hunter? And, would it be a bad idea to roll another hunter because half the population are hunters? Oh, and are hunters really avoided for instances? Hello new action bar spot, (Aspect of the dragonhawk)
I just got it a few nights ago and haven’t gotten to play with it much (I have family visiting, and Holiday Magic just started at Disneyland. I’ve been at the park every day). I started calling it “Aspect of the Dragonhawt after an honest typo to a hunter buddy. I love it. It is throwing me off how much different the icon is. After 3 years of looking at the blue talon, I look up at my buffs and think “Oh crap, I’ve been grinding this whole time without… wait… 80 Nightelf Hunter – Queen of Typos Sylverra 69 Human Warlock Stormscale Server levaks wrote:And you Ayrianna you are the tupical noob hunter that everyone hates in BGs..the hunter that do arena just to get the axe.. I’m sorry. But let you know at 80 for pvp, for leveling/PvE i don’t see it being that Aspect of the cheetah, farewell aspect of the monkey, farewell aspect of the hawk… Thank-you blizzard to making those skills not needed. Before every single spot on every single action bar was full on my hunter. Now I have 3 new spots because I use aspect of the dragon hawk which is sooooo cool. I have a glyph for my aspect of the monkey that each time I dodge, I move at 30 increased speed. It also carries into aspetc of the dragonhawk, + the aspect of the hawk proc carries over, now if it only restores 2 hp and 2 mana every 5 seconds I’d never need anything else Anyways can’t wait to use it, I loggedo ut after dinging 74 last night. Does any1 like as much as I think I will?-My name is Die and I am a WoW Addict

The Epic Guide to Melee Huntering
The Epic Guide to Melee Huntering Melee Huntering Verb – 1. To fight as the hunter class in melee 2. The process of using only melee abilities as a hunter Noun – 1. Hardcore Mode
Hunters are normally ranged characters and normally use pets to increase their damage and tank for them. This guide will explore the melee aspects of hunters without the use of any ranged attacks or a pet. Melee hunters will get extremely hard to play at certain points in the game (mainly 6-16 and 58-62) but do not be discouraged by this awesome playstyle. One word of warning before you begin though: DO NOT attempt to join instance groups as a melee hunter as some of the players will flame and laugh at you for being a melee hunter and kick you from their group.

My shammy dinged 40 relatively rently and it is a transformative experiee. But, frankly, it’s still mainly an autoattk toon, now with stormstrike spam (and maybe an ES when SF prs and I have mana to burn). I find shammies most interesting in groups, where the totem layout matters a lot andanhange from moment to moment. I also like to overpull and see if Ian figure out what totem drops will save me, in order to give myself something to do between stormstrikes. But the amount of drinking this requires makes this an ineffient lvling strategy. Had a similar experiee with my baby pally. I think bothlasses are mainly autoattk toons. They bome very interesting in groups due to their support nature. There is something fun abt tearing thru a mob with one SS, an ES and two autoattk swings, though, so I’m stking with the shammy. This. And yeah it still is an auto-attk toon but at least it’s an efftive auto-attk toon now My main issue was if I was just misplaying thelass followedlosely by “oh god please don’t tell me it’s going to be like this for 70 levels” Alastair – Iompletely agree both on the DW being just nuts and the fus sound getting just a tih annoying. Kellin – Yeah I’m doing the additional pull thing now, before I’d have to heal and stuff first Taratru – hang in there, it gets SO mh better

It is probably bause youannot get dent DPS from Arms build simply pushing all ramdomly. You need to know extly what you are doing and why, you need swing timer and goodonntion as lag kills slam timing. Even the idea of using slam was a novelty for some. One even tried to prove that hean do better without slam at all as “Slam suks LOL. You joking right???” Fury is maybe harder to gear but easier to use and mh more idiot prove… Still out of 56 warriors 2an do very ne DPS while in arms build and I belive it is prove good enough it is possible. We just have our healing paladins run in and judge oe and they stay up.

to fe the mob so that its bk is to your
GYFFORD, Pie Eatinghampion wrote:Do you bother to fe the mob so that its bk is to your melee? Let me know if you do or not, or if you’ll start or not. I always do. Just a habit, mainly. The main reason I do it is forleaves, bause I like to run with 1 healer and it’s mh harder for a single healer if multle people are taking damage. Ah,ool. I think I’ll start trying to do that. Mobs withleave I mostertianly fe away (or in Romelo’sase… fe his bk away- Bkleave). I’ll have to run it by our #1 tank, see what he thinks… it is only trash mobs… but on ZA timed runs it might help getting that extra 5% dps and healing mana from not having him parry and hit faster. Looks good on paper anyway []it’s not only a thing about you positionning your mob, but your dps having enoughommon sense to get behind them. Tell every melee-er that their dps will irease if they’re behind the mob and they should automatally adjust themselves for the eounters if possible.During trash (esp. in STK) you don’t have the room to try and tank them fing away from the raid. With theC and lk of room, its best for you to hold the aggro as best youan without having to try and move the mob. With that being said it’s just easier for the melee to run around the bk and dps. Now in S there are big Boglord guys that you will have to turn away from the raid, but other than that there are like 5 and 6 mob pulls and you just tank where youan (if you want to position them aertain way, I’m not telling you not too). In TK there are always multi-mob trash pulls and some have a whirlwind and others have an Aane Flurry whhan beountered by Sheeping, so fing them from the raid doesn’t really work sie they do AoE dmg anyway. Good lk in STK, Ian’t wait to hear your stories!
