Aimed Shot – getting a little better

Even with a 0.5 sec cast time reduction, I doubt it will be worth putting into a shot rotation. It’s great as an opening shot for Misdirect, but other shot combos can outperform it. Check out this link at Elitist Jerks, it graphically demonstrates why Aimed Shot is bad. lythrdskynrd @ Elitist Jerks wrote:Although aimed shot does a good amount of damage, it resets the Auto Shot timer. In the time you are casting ONE Aimed Shot you could have cast 1. Auto Shot 2. Steady Shot 3. Arcane Shot And you?? be most of the way through casting another Steady and Auto Shot Essentially, shooting ONE aimed shot costs about the same as shooting almost FIVE other shots .. though it only does the damage of about 2. It does however retain its value for when you are initiating combat with a misdirect… Although that was written for the 3.5 sec cast time, it would not appear that a cast-time reduction to 3.0 seconds doesn’t change the overall conclusion. Now if only they would reduce the mana cost Raid HunterPvP Frost MageTwink ability (Aimed Shot), which has already gained a healing debuff akin to Mortal Strike, will now also have a reduced cast time. The shot will now take a flat 3 seconds to perform, which is a half a second drop from its previous time of 3.5 seconds. In addition, Eyonix also mentioned that the developers are monitoring the ability’s effectiveness and may further reduce the cast time after 2.3 goes live. Lowered Shot time – Always a good thing.-Sylthan Hunter ~ 80 SupremeMage Mage ~ 74 Sylthat Warrior ~ 80

Pure DPS for PVE

Here it is. Tired of seeing all these tree’s with wasted points. I have and will always be BM. I have tweaked my shot rotations, changed my talents, and after many raids have concluded without a doubt that this is the best distribution and shot rotation for maximum dps. After hitting 135 hit rating I focus mainly on agility and crit in that order. Unbuffed crit is roughly 31. Unbuffed AP is roughly 1650. I start out with arcane shot and multi when on the move. When I plant my feet I go strictly to a spammable macro that shoot kill command when available and spam steady shot. Kill command and steady will weave perfectly inbetween your auto shots, never clipping them. This maximizes your dps potential and is the most mana efficient rotation available. When I try to use arcane and multi it starts to clip auto shots and negatively affects overall dps. So only in situations where a boss has more then one target, or I am moving will I ever use multi or arcane. This spec is for raiding without a SP in your party and is most efficient for daily grinding and pvp. It still is geared mainly for raid DPS.

Money makin’

I believe with the gatherer addon, you can effectively track both mining and herb nodes, as they show up on your map as icons vs. little yellow dots. This all depends on using saved and/or imported data from other gatherer users though.- Jebek, 80 Orc Hunter Missarthas, 80 Belf DK Razamanaz

Pvp and grouping

That kind of depends on yourself. In world PvP your own knowledge of the opponent is King. You should know everything your opponent is capable of and thus what he can’t deal with. In BG’s however, we are the undisputed Masters of PvP. We basically just stay with the group and tag/kill everything with little or no challenge. Without much PvP gear or PvP skill I can easily top damage and HK. Let’s face it, BGs aren’t PvP. It’s PvP for retards. In World PvP however we have the range of suck ->> Epic Win. It all depends on your own knowledge of the Hunter class and the opponent class. Basically, we can counter almost anything unless the opponent class can counter everything we do. This, in my own experience, is rare. What you, like almost any PvPer needs to realize, is that WoW is actually quite balanced. There’s no recipe for winning a fight, and there’s no class that is much better than any others. It’s all down to you and how much you know about your own class and your opponents. So, find a class that fits your playstyle (which basically means play any class past 40) and go with it. That’s all there is to it. Edit: I’m drunk and slightly soft, so I’m not going to drink your blood. I’m merely going to advice you to do some @in’ research of your own instead of expecting some @in’ handfeeding you lazy ass cockslapped cumdumpster… Seriously, you are retarded if you expect anything like the post I started with as a result of a post like your own. Consider yourself @in’ lucky and go play the lottery, because any other day you’d be laughed at like those sad and pitiful little clowns in the circus. You know what they feel like? They hate themselves and their lives almost more than I now hate you.
